hello, my sweets! i am in a great mood - why, you ask? because tonight, while out celebrating my dear friend michael winters' art opening for his photo show, i received an email from lovely elise of blowfish shoes congratulating me for winning the shoe-a-day giveaway! i am seriously over the moon about this - i really never win anything (okay, that's not *entirely* true - i won a pair of tickets to see blink 182 forever ago and marissa and i went and had a blast) and am very, very excited about this.

i've been eyeing the vance ever since it first became available and it is soon to be mine! here's the little video that they made & sent to all of week 14's winners - keep an eye out exactly at the 1:00 mark for my name. so cute!

of course, in honor of this, i will be styling another outfit around the vance for monday's dreamy outfit and i will absolutely be posting outfit shots as soon as i get these goodies in the mail! for now, here's the video. enjoy!

*two things are interesting to me about this. the first is that when i was in london for my 20th birthday one of the only things i actually ended up buying was a pair of shoes by shelly's london - they were teal, green, yellow and orange pointed flats and they were amazing. the second interesting thing is that just earlier today i was looking up pricing for the dream and i to take a trip to london (i want to go back so badly and he's never been). it's odd how things work out!

happy wednesday my little lovers! yesterday i wore my hair down for the first time in over a year - no joke. and this includes while i sleep! it's going to take a bit of time to get used to it but it was an immediate hit with the dream - he was playing with it all day!

happy wednesday my darlings! we are off to canobie lake park (hooray!) with a big group of friends for riding coasters, eating fried food and cotton candy and tons of smiles and laughter! i'll definitely be bringing my little video camera and taking plenty of photos to share here.
