bachelorette party delight!

hello dreamy babies! the bachelorette party was so much fun... we took care of business and bought our bridesmaid dresses, did some relaxing, ate some delicious food and threw down some serious moves on the dance floor. here are some snapshots... sorry there aren't more but i was too busy enjoying the company of some lovely ladies to take photos every five minutes, so these few will have to do. enjoy!

marissa & asa visit!

jeepers creepers am i the happiest or what?! marissa and asa came to visit on saturday and they brought our friend shannon with them! it was just a couple of weeks ago that i was down in asheville visiting so i feel very lucky to have been able to see my best friend (who lives very far away!) twice in a month. there was some craziness surrounding their travels and asa lost his voice and had a cold but in spite of all of this they were in high spirits and we had a lovely time. here are some snapshots!

at the beginning of the week we had the pleasure of seeing our friends seth & isis play a show at a beautiful local venue called sanctuary arts. seth and isis are so incredibly talented and it's always a wonderful occasion when we get to see them perform. i wanted to take a moment to share this video (which, fyi, was taken by joey pratt and not by me!) because i love it (like everything else they do!) and i'm pretty sure you will, too.

mojo's bbq shack - portsmouth, nh

hello my sweet peaches! it's very fitting that today's earlier blog post was a what we wore featuring bee, nicole and myself because yesterday we had a lunch date! we went to mojo's bbq shack and i was very excited because this was my first trip to mojo's and (as you've probably guessed by now) i looooooooooove me some bbq!

we sat around and had delicious drinks with grenadine (i've been on a serious shirley temple kick lately!) and lots of delightful girl talk. it was loads of fun!

what we wore - matthew gray gubler slumber party

a couple of months ago my friends nicole, bee and i went to see matthew gray gubler (of criminal minds fame and wes anderson beginnings) speak at unh. his lecture was "pajama party" themed! we didn't want to wear pj pants that say PINK on the bum or short shorts (not that we'd wear them anyway) so we opted for vintage nightgowns and fur. enjoy!
