happy monday, sugar plums! just a quick update to tell you how very excited we are to be picking up our new vintage couch today! it was a craigslist find and is (in my opinion) absolutely perfect for our first couch. i'll post photos when it's here and settled, but for now a sneak peek. enjoy!
(apologies for the quality - these are from the craigslist ad!)
hello hello! you know when you can feel yourself getting sick... let's say, for instance, that your dreamy and sweet boyfriend has a chest/head cold and you've been smooching his handsome face all the time regardless, and you know you're going to get sick but you keep thinking "no, no, i'm not feeling any symptoms yet!" and then you wake up one morning and it hurts to cough and it feels like someone is sitting on your chest and you're blowing your nose every five minutes but that hurts, too, because your sinuses are all stuffed up?
yeah, that's about where i'm at.
anyway! i spent the afternoon thrifting with bee a couple of days ago and while i was waiting for her to get ready i shot some lovely photos of her beautiful living room! i would really love to do a full dreamy home tour at bee's because i really think her home is one of the most perfect i've seen... but for now, here are a few shots of her living room. enjoy!
so gorgeous!
yesterday started off as such a lovely day! the sun was shining and it was incredibly warm outside. i went thrifting in the morning and found some really great things. it was sunny when i went into the thrift store and when i finished up and walked outside it was pouring! so i went over to my dear friend lona's house and we sat on her porch and talked and then moved to the living room and drank the most delicious solar tea i've ever had - it tasted like lemon and sunshine!
lona lives in a gorgeous little house with her husband, suddhayu. their back yard is a farm and they are always filling their tummies with delicious fresh foods. i had such a wonderful afternoon! here's a little peek...
hi again, lovelies! i wanted to show you all marissa's beautiful apartment. when i came to visit for the first time a few years ago i totally fell in love with the place... the lovely details (like side-hinged paned windows in her bedroom) and incredible gardens (she also has gardens in the back - complete with a bronze fountain) made me swoon so hard!
isn't she the most beautiful ever? yeah, i think so, too.
