what i wore ~ valentine's day off

our valentine's day was super dreamy... we both happened to have the day off which was just wonderful. we woke up late, snuggled, went to brunch and stuffed our faces with pancakes, and then took noodle for a super long walk around pierce island and then back into town to get ingredients for a delicious dinner. here's what i wore. enjoy!

we were lucky that the weather was nice enough that i could pose for photos outside without my big puffy coat! this is a spot on pierce island that overlooks the water. somewhere in that blurred mess behind me is our home... but looking at this photo, i really couldn't tell you where it is.

noodle snuck up during the photo sesh and i really couldn't resist a quick snuggle. do you love her furry leopard coat? she got so many compliments on it around town today!

we ended our evening by baking our favorite pumpkin cupcakes (recipe here) and dancing around the kitchen to some sweet tunes... not a terrible way to spend valentine's day, if you ask me!
