it's no secret that i feel very strongly about wide-leg jeans (see here). don't get me wrong, i definitely love me some skinny jeans. but ever since i found a pair of j brand kat wide legs at goodwill for $8, i've been craving more 1970s-style pieces than ever. i tend to favor skinny jeans for winter so i can tuck them into my boots, but from spring to fall i think wide-leg jeans are the way to go. channel your inner farrah fawcet by pairing them with a great set of wooden platforms, espadrille wedges or lace-up booties and a tight t-shirt, or wear them with a semi-sheer button up and peekaboo bustier. there are a few pairs that i am seriously lusting after right now, but first - some inspiration from the one and only:
