friday faves - summer hair flowers

i know i have some explaining to do... i was so busy vacationing that i totally forgot to post friday faves! i figure it's okay since i posted so many yummy blogs of my asheville trip... speaking of, did you all enjoy the closet tour? any recommendations or feedback for the next one?? anyone in the greater new england area interested in being featured in a future closet tour (or as a budget babe, for that matter)?

Wait. So one can buy fake hair flowers designed to look like non-fake hair flowers? Are these pretty readily available, or more of a specialty kind of item?

i think they're pretty readily available. there are ways to diy it, too, by purchasing big fake flowers at craft stores & removing the stems. i've been meaning to do this and am heading to the craft store today... maybe i'll do a diy blog about it. is laura looking for something like this?
